Safe Road Day-22 was celebrated in Durgapur of Rajshahi keeping this motto in mind. A rally and discussion meeting was held on this occasion. A rally and discussion meeting was held at Upazila Parishad Chatter on Saturday morning on October 22, organized by the upazila administration. Under the chairmanship of Durgapur Upazila Executive Officer Sohel Rana, the discussion meeting was attended as the chief guest by Rajshahi-5 (Puthia-Durgapur) Constituency Honorable Member of Parliament Prof. Dr. Mansur Rahman, Durgapur Upazila Parishad Chairman Bir Muktijoddha Nazrul Islam was present as a special guest. Durgapur Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Banesha Begum, Ah Motaleb Molla, Durgapur Municipal Acting Mayor Ekramul Haque, Upazila Women’s Affairs Officer Fatema Khatun, also chairpersons of various unions and UP members of Durgapur Upazila and officials of various departments of Upazila were present.
