Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the dream Padma Bridge, inaugurated toll plazas at the end of the Mawa and Jajira Ghats, unveiled plaques and visited the Padma Bridge. The thousands and thousands joined surround the bridge and whole country enjoying with joy.
This is the country’s a great celebration, because the nation is enjoying such “inauguration” after the victory in 1971.
This is the longest bridge ever in Bangladesh that must significantly reduce the distance between the capital city of Dhaka to the Mongla sea port, which is important for regional and international trade.
“This is a dream has come true for the nation of Bangalee and has made us proud. This is the achievement of great leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. It is a unique infrastructural initiative of the Government of Bangladesh led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,”.
“Our Money, Our Bridge, Our Pride- Padma Bridge,” posters with Slogans are decorated everywhere in the country.
