Today 19 July 2023, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) as part of the central announced programme.
Chandgaon Thana Jubo Dal and its affiliated organizations joined the procession.
The march started from the premises of Jamiatul Falah Mosque in Chittagong Wasa and passed in front of the BNP party office Nasimon Bhavan via New Market and ended at Dewanhat Junction.
At this time various organ organizations of Chittagong district, Upazila metropolis, thana level joined. At this time, the leaders and activists demand that the next national elections be held under a fair and neutral caretaker government. Their only demand was that they will not go to any election under this government.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was the chief guest, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury was the chief speaker.
BNP Chairperson Advisor Mir Mohammad Nashir Uddin, Standing Committee Member Abdullah Al Noman, Southern District BNP Convener Abu Sufian, Metropolitan BNP President Dr. Shahadat Hossain, Metropolitan BNP General Secretary Abul Hashem Bakkar and others were also present.
