Coke Studio Bangla is launching its second season for the audiences on Valentine’s Day, 14th February. This season will feature more than 20 local artists presenting different dimensions of fusions. These fusions are created according to the taste of the modern generation with the old spice.
Special screening for the release of Coke Studio Bangla Season 2 songs is being planned. They will share more updates regarding this after the launching ceremony.
This season, the audience will be experiencing a diverse range of artists from various backgrounds, presenting multiple genres of music. The artists give their unique touch to the tracks with authentic tunes rooted in the indigenous culture we have never heard of before. Many artists will make their Coke Studio Bangla debut this season.
Shayan Chowdhury Arnob, just like in season 1, will be the music producer. Also, many more renowned producers – Pritom Hasan, Fuad Almuqtadir, Emon Chowdhury, and Shuvo will join the producing team. Different musical forms with fusions and experiments will continue this season too.
As per Arnob’s social media announcement, this season will feature legendary artists Runa Laila, Indian classical musician Ustad Rashid Khan, and maybe also Rockstar James.
The famous streaming app Spotify is collaborating with Coke Studio Bangla for this season. So the songs will be available on the app.
Coke studio originated in Pakistan to bring the famous local into the spotlight. It is produced by the beverage company Coca-Cola. The platform produces music, including traditional folk music, classical, Sufi, Ghazals, and qawwali songs.
Coke Studio Bangla emerged with the same motive in Bangladesh. It started the journey in February last year and ended in September.
Like Coke Studio Bangla season 1, this season will also find music lovers’ praise as the fans eagerly await the release of the first song.
