The Chittagong district administration has undertaken various programs to observe the great Ekushey February Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day-2022 with due dignity. The program includes-

As construction work is underway on the Shaheed Minar in front of Chittagong Muslim Institute Cultural Complex on the occasion of Great Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day, tributes will be paid to the language martyrs at the Shaheed Minar on the premises of Chittagong Municipal School and College.

Tribute to the martyrs will begin with paying homage at 12:01 pm.

This time, a maximum of 5 people from each organization and a maximum of 2 people at the individual level will present wreaths at the same time.

On the occasion of 21st February, the national flag will be hoisted at half-mast in the buildings of educational institutions and government, semi-government, autonomous and non-government organizations in proper manner, in correct color and size.

Besides, as part of various day-long programs organized by the district administration, Chittagong, a discussion meeting and cultural program has been organized on 21st February at 7:30 pm at the district Shilpakala Academy Muktamancha following proper hygiene rules. Honorable Divisional Commissioner of Chittagong Division Ms. Ashraf Uddin kindly agreed to decorate the seat as the Chief Guest and Ms. Anwar Hassan, BPM (Bar), PPM (Bar), DIG, Chittagong Range, Chittagong Saleh Mohammad Tanvir, PPM will be present as special guests. , Commissioner of Police, CMP; SM Rashidul Haque, PPM (Services), Superintendent of Police, Chittagong; Veer Muktijeddha Maejaffar Ahmed, Metropolitan Unit Commander, Bangladesh Muktijeddha Sangsad, Chittagong and AKM Sarayer Kamal, Acting Commander, Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad, Chittagong District Unit Command.
