Bangabandhu Fisheries Heritage Halda Nadir Halda Upazila administration is in a strict position to protect mother fish, dolphins and biodiversity and to prevent poaching activities. In continuation of this, nets surrounded by two thousand meters have been seized by conducting raids at different points of Haldar today. The operation was carried out from Amatoya Point of Haldar North Madarsha to Nangalmora Bazar.
Hat Hazari Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mohammad Shahidul Alam led a raid from Amtoa Point of Haldar North Madarsha to Nangalmora Bazar on Friday, February 18 from 5:00 am to 9:00 am and seized 2,000 meters of net.
IDF Fisheries Officer Md. Fayez Rabbani and Md. Monirul Islam, Village Police Md. Adil and Md. Mansur assisted in the operation.
Hathazari Upazila Executive Officer. Shahidul Alam said that on the basis of specific information, operations were carried out in several places and nets of 2,000 meters fence were recovered from Aamtoa point of Haldar North Madarsha to Nangalmora Bazar. Haldar mother fish, dolphins and biodiversity are protected by the upazila administration at different points almost every day. This trend will continue.
