RAB-11 has arrested the accused Mohammad Milon (60), who has been absconding for 13 years, after raiding Jabbar Ali Munshi’s house in Gopalpur UP, Ward 2, Madhupur under Begumganj Police Station, Noakhali District.

He was arrested on Tuesday, January 11, at 12:15 pm in an operation led by Additional Superintendent of Police Khandaker Mohammad Shamim Hossain. The arrested accused Md. Milon is the son of late Yusuf Ali of Jabbar Ali Munshi Bari, Madhupur under Begumganj police station of Noakhali district.

RAB-11, CPC-3 Company Commander Additional Superintendent of Police Khandoker Md. Shamim Hossain said, Mohammad Milon,a fugitive accused in the murder case of Noakhali Begumganj Police Station, was arrested after conducting a raid on the house of Jabbar Ali Munshi of Madhupur, Ward No. 2, Gopalpur UP under Begumganj Police Station, Noakhali District on the basis of secret information. He escaped after 13 years and was finally caught.

He further said that during the preliminary interrogation, it was learned that the accused had been absconding in an unknown place for a long time for fear of avoiding arrest. The arrested accused has been handed over to Begumganj police station in Noakhali district for taking legal action against him.
