Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mohammad Masud Rana has taken an exceptional initiative to provide direct services on land issues by setting up a mobile land office in an open space outside the office room in Chittagong’s Lohagara Upazila.

The service has been launched at the Lohagara Upazila Land Office on Thursday morning, December 2, and Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mohammad Masud Rana urged the people to take up the service.

According to the land office sources, Aceland will be present in front of the office in the open space in front of the office. Regularly solicit or advise on any land related issue including e-namjari application, namjari, hearing, approved namjari (DCR) and collection of ledger, payment of land development tax (rent). There is no chance of cheating in the hands of brokers. This initiative has been taken so that the people who come to the land office do not fall into the clutches of the brokers.

Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Masud Rana said that many people were deceived by the land office brokers. Many do not have the opportunity to speak directly or many do not understand the complexities of the land. Brokers take this opportunity. Therefore, we take exceptional initiatives to provide services to the general public outside the office in order to provide services directly to the people at the beginning of the race and to make it easier for the general service seekers to get services and to provide 100% harassment free services. We have taken this initiative so that the land service users can get the service easily and do not fall into the clutches of the brokers. There will be immediate e-namazari application, namjari, hearing, approved namjari (DCR) and collection of ledger, payment of land development tax (rent) and any land related problem will be solved or advised immediately.

He said the initiative was taken to ensure that people could talk directly to their AC Land about their problems. He said such initiatives under the overall direction of the Deputy Commissioner, Chittagong would continue. This effort will continue in the Lohagara land office run as per the overall instructions of Deputy Commissioner Sir Chittagong.
