He said the second unit of the project will be launched in 2024. This will greatly develop the socio-economic development of the people of the country. .He said, “Our goal is to celebrate the centenary of the birth of the father of the nation in Vision 2021.” I will also celebrate the golden jubilee of independence. We have got the status of a developing country. I want to make Bangladesh a developing country in the world in 41 years.

Later, with the permission of the Prime Minister, permission was given to set up a reactor pacer vessel from GanobhabanShaukat Akbar thanked the Prime Minister and the concerned officials installed the reactor of Unit-1 of Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant.
